The Story

Built on a foundation of elite clinical practice.

Justin Belza founded Archetype Wellness and Longevity after more than 18 years of clinical experience and education on the front lines of medicine, treating thousands of patients across some of the most respected institutions in the country. What he saw repeatedly was that men were being underserved: overworked clinicians, rushed appointments, and a healthcare model designed to manage disease rather than build vitality.

In his hepatology and GI work, Justin too often stood at the bedside of patients in end-stage liver failure, requiring acute and intensive interventions for conditions that, years earlier, could have been prevented entirely with the right lifestyle modifications, nutrition guidance, and proactive medical support. Those experiences became the founding conviction behind Archetype: that the healthcare system intervenes far too late, and that men deserve a model built around prevention, optimization, and longevity before disease ever takes hold.

Archetype is the answer. A practice engineered to deliver the depth of clinical expertise, the precision of functional medicine, and the personal attention of a true concierge experience, without geographic limits.

Justin doesn’t just prescribe the lifestyle, he lives it. As a competitive HYROX athlete (previously qualified for World Championships), an ultramarathon finisher, and a multiple-time half marathon competitor, he understands firsthand what it takes to build a body and a mind capable of high performance. The protocols he prescribes are the same principles he applies to his own training, nutrition, and recovery, medicine practiced from the inside out.

Above all, Justin is a father to two boys, the most important reason he commits to the work, models the lifestyle, and builds a practice designed to help men show up fully for the people who depend on them.

Hepatology & GI at Stanford Healthcare

Justin served as a Nurse Practitioner in hepatology and gastroenterology at Stanford Healthcare, one of the most prestigious medical institutions in the world. This work shaped his deep understanding of the gut, the liver, and their central role in metabolic health, hormone balance, and chronic disease.

Clinical Director, Hormone Optimization & Peptide Clinician

As Clinical Director of a successful men’s concierge clinic, Justin built and led protocols that helped hundreds of men optimize hormones, body composition, energy, and performance. That work forged his expertise across the modern men’s health toolkit, testosterone replacement therapy, enclomiphene, nutraceutical support, and full-ecosystem hormonal balance, along with advanced peptide therapies and protocols spanning regeneration, recovery, metabolic health, growth hormone secretagogues, and longevity. Plans are individualized, evidence-based, and continually titrated to your response, a clinical playbook now refined and offered through Archetype.

Functional Medicine Training

Years of advanced training in functional medicine give Justin the framework to look beyond lab reference ranges and into the systems-level patterns that drive how men actually feel, gut, hormones, mitochondria, inflammation, and lifestyle. Specific advanced certifications through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) include:

  • Advanced Practice Module, Bioenergetics
  • Advanced Practice Module, Cardiometabolic
  • Advanced Practice Module, Gastrointestinal
  • Advanced Practice Module, Hormone
  • Advanced Practice Module, Environmental Health & Detoxification
  • Advanced Practice Module, Immune
A Personal Note

Why Archetype exists.

“Conventional medicine lacks the flexibility to provide adequate guidelines and truly individualized care. There is no real focus on prevention, the system only steps in once a condition has already taken root and begun to shape our lives and our health. By that point, we’re managing damage instead of building vitality. Archetype exists to flip that equation: to intervene early, listen carefully, and give every man a plan built around his biology, not a population average.”
